At VIDYA, we believe choosing a YTTC in India is one of the most important decisions you will make as a yoga student.
That is why we do not list every school. Each one goes through a careful selection process so you can trust that the options you see here are authentic, safe, and student-focused.

Our 4-step selection process
- Every school must meet minimum requirements:
- • Yoga Alliance or equivalent accreditation (200H / 300H / 500H)
- • Minimum 3 years of running YTTCs
- • At least 2 lead teachers with RYT-500 or equivalent experience
- • Safe accommodation, clean food, and proper facilities
- We review curriculum, teacher bios, schedules, food, accommodation, pricing, and student testimonials. Only transparent schools pass.
- Where possible, our team or a trusted reviewer visits the school to experience a class, check facilities, and speak with students.
- After a school joins VIDYA, its visibility depends only on verified student reviews. No one can pay to improve their ranking.
